THE MAIN ACTIVITIES:

  1. Calculation and submission to MoH RA of an annual demand (quota) of narcotics and psychotropic substances in RA, 

  2. Making quarter and annual reports on the import and export of narcotics and psychotropic substances, 

  3. Control and regulation of narcotics and psychotropic substances imported/exported into and out of RA, formation of the certificates on import and export of narcotics and psychotropic substances and ensuring inter-state exchange with certificates,

  4. Control over the drugs and substances import and export into or out of RA aiming to reveal narcotic substances in them, 

  5. Participation in periodic revision and renewal of the National List of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances that are controlled in RA,

  6. Participation in a complex of activities, carried out by the RA State Administration bodies, that ensure the implementation of international obligations of RA in controlling and suppressing illegal turnover of narcotics and psychotropic substances,

  7. Specialized expertise of various drugs (including veterinary), dietary supplements, medical cosmetics and other pharmaceutical productions according to the request of the RA State Administration bodies and other organizations, 

  8. Participation in the inspection of the pharmaceutical organizations in RA, conducted by the RA State Administration bodies, aiming to reveal the violation of the licensing requirements, low quality and counterfeit drugs and other pharmaceutical production.
